2023 Throwdown Edition - "Full Lineup" (All 4 sets of Throwlex & Supremacy)

This listing is for our “Full Lineup” of bags for the Throwdown. Including both Throwlex color ways (red & blue) and both Supremacy color ways (green & pink), players will be ready to face all playing conditions for The Throwdown, even when matched up agains other Burly Bags.

SUPREMACY

The Supremacy is a fast bag ideally suited for most players in fair to slower conditions. The high level of control available on its slow side will also make it an appealing option for both medium and fast bag players in faster conditions, making a place for itself in any players line up for the ever changing conditions you will see at The Throwdown in Ventura, CA. Pairing a luxuriously soft and controllable 6 speed slow side with an aggressive 9 speed fast side, in our new smaller (Just over 5.75”) template, players will find they can lay very pushable blocks, or slide into the hole more controllably on the slow side. Known for its windy conditions, our smaller template reduces the impact of wind on your game play for The Throwdown.

CONDITIONS: Moderately reactive to weather conditions, Supremacy’s slow side will play around a 6-6.5 and have maximum hole friendliness in ideal conditions, while the introduction of humidity will begin slowing the bag, Supremacy will maintain playability

SUGGESTED BAG PAIRING: The most ideal bag pairing for this bag is the “Throwlex” as it offers an equal speed decreases on both sides of the bag, allowing players to maintain their gameplay without adjusting their throw as conditions begin to speed up.

BREAK IN: Supremacy breaks in easily by just throwing, however it will take multiple sessions. Beginning stiff the slow side speeds will be sporadic until it softens, and becomes very flexible and luxuriously soft to the touch. If artificial break in methods are used, it is advised to use lower impact methods for this bag

THROWLEX

The Throwlex is a medium speed bag ideally suited for the fast daytime conditions that you’ll encounter at The Throwdown in Ventura, CA this August. Pairing a luxuriously soft 4.5-5.5 speed slow side with a controllable 8 speed fast side and in our new smaller (Just over 5.75”) template. Known for it’s windy conditions, our smaller template reduces the impact of wind on your game play.

CONDITIONS: Reactive to weather conditions, this bag is ideally suited for fair to good conditions. In hotter/sunnier/drier conditions the speed of the bag could play closer to a 6/9 and be incredibly hole friendly. As the moisture level increases, the slow side of this bag will begin to stick and a bag change is recommended.

SUGGESTED BAG PAIRING: The most ideal bag pairing for this bag is the “Supremacy” as it offers an equal speed increase on both sides of the bag allowing players to maintain their gameplay without adjusting their throw as conditions begin to slow.

BREAK IN: Throwlex breaks in rather easily with only a couple throwing sessions. If artificial break in methods are used, it is advised to use the lowest impact methods for this bag
